In brief

Sound.me is a two-sided creator marketplace: artists, record labels and brands pay creators to make short videos with their sound or product on TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, and creators use the Sound.me app to apply to daily paid campaigns and cash out via PayPal. It has 3M+ registered creators in 61 countries, who have made 90M+ videos with 181B+ organic views for 20K+ advertisers.

Which countries can you target one by one?

These 24 countries can be picked on their own at checkout:

  • North America and the Caribbean: United States, Canada, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico
  • Latin America: Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Chile, Argentina, Peru
  • Europe: United Kingdom
  • Africa: Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Ghana, Mozambique
  • Asia and the Pacific: Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Japan, Australia

What do the regions cover?

Every other country is reached through its region:

RegionWhat it covers
EuropeGermany, France, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands and the rest of Europe (the UK is separate)
Latin AmericaThe rest of Latin America
AsiaThe UAE, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Taiwan and more
AfricaMorocco, Angola, Algeria and more
Australia and New ZealandNew Zealand and nearby islands (Australia is separate)
Rest of the worldPacific islands, Bermuda, Greenland and more

Creators are registered in 61 countries, but that is not the same as 61 targetable markets: target one of the 24 countries, a region, or worldwide.

Why target a country instead of going worldwide?

  • You tour or release there. Put creator videos where you want people to come to the show or find the song.
  • Language. A song in Spanish, Portuguese or Filipino often lands best with creators and viewers who speak it. You can also target by language, age and gender.
  • A market test. Run the same brief in two markets and compare the videos, views and comments.
  • Budget. Creator pay per view follows what advertisers pay for that audience, so some countries cost more per view than others. Targeting lower-cost countries stretches a budget further.

Worldwide is still the fastest way to fill a campaign, and it is what the published projection measures: a worldwide, 7-day $1,000 campaign is projected at about 524,000 views from about 151 creator videos, measured on TikTok campaigns (worldwide, 7 days; average of real completed Sound.me campaigns created since January 1, 2026).

What do campaigns in specific markets deliver?

Real, completed Sound.me TikTok campaigns from the case studies:

WhereSpendCreator videosViewsPer 1,000 views
United States only (7 days)$50024584K$0.86
US, UK, Canada and Brazil (72 hours)$1,500631.34M$1.12
Europe (including the UK), US and Canada (14 days)$1,00078507K$1.97
Australia, Indonesia, the Philippines and Singapore$10,74588124.3M$0.44
Brazil, France, Kenya, Mexico, Nigeria, the Philippines and South Africa$8,49428728.5M$0.30
11 countries across the Americas, Europe, Africa and Asia$9,7986598.39M$1.17

These are strong results chosen to show what is possible, not averages. Most views on creator campaigns come from a few videos that take off: in the US-only campaign, the best video had 63% of the views.

Does the country change what creators cost?

Yes. Creators are paid for each approved video based on the views it gets in its first 72 hours, at a per-view rate tied to their country and audience. Sound.me publishes what creators were paid by country: in the 90 days to September 16, 2026, the average approved video paid creators $14.62 in the United Kingdom, $8.74 in the United States, $3.35 in Brazil, $2.30 in the Philippines and $1.56 in Nigeria (payouts by country). Those are creator payouts, not advertiser prices, but they show why the same budget buys more videos in some markets than in others.

Does a narrow target slow a campaign down?

It can, because fewer creators match. In the published case studies, the worldwide $250 campaign had its first video live within 10 minutes, the four-country $1,500 campaign within an hour, the US-only $500 campaign after about 18 hours, and the Europe, US and Canada $1,000 campaign after about 31 hours. If you target one smaller market, choose a 7-day or 14-day run so creators have time to find the campaign. Choosing a run time explains the options.

How do you set up a country campaign?

  1. Pick the platform (TikTok, Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts; each campaign runs on one) and paste a TikTok, Instagram or YouTube link to your sound.
  2. Choose worldwide, one or more of the 24 countries, or a region. Add language, age, gender and creator size (from 100 followers to over 50 million) if they matter.
  3. Add up to 3 example creators from that market whose style you like; Sound.me finds similar ones.
  4. Choose directions: creative freedom, lip sync, dance, transition, text on screen or your own brief.
  5. Pay by card at secure checkout. The campaign goes live right after.

Sound.me's team matches and approves creators; on TikTok campaigns of $1,000 or more you can also approve creators yourself. Our team watches every video, and creators who don't follow your directions don't get paid. The live dashboard includes a country breakdown of views, updated every hour.

When does another option fit better?

If you need creators in a country outside the list and its region is too broad, or you want one named local creator, book creators directly in that market. If you want radio, press or playlist curators in a country, a curator platform fits better than creator videos. Sound.me doesn't guarantee views, streams or sales in any market; it shows projections from real past campaigns before you pay.
