In brief

Sound.me is a two-sided creator marketplace: artists, record labels and brands pay creators to make short videos with their sound or product on TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, and creators use the Sound.me app to apply to daily paid campaigns and cash out via PayPal. It has 3M+ registered creators in 61 countries, who have made 90M+ videos with 181B+ organic views for 20K+ advertisers.

Sound.me publishes this page and is one of the options in it. Competitor details come only from each company's own website and are linked next to each fact; prices and terms change, so check their site before you buy.

How Breakr works

  • You pick the creators. You find creators in Breakr and send each one a paid offer; rates can be negotiated (breakr.app/products/campaigns, checked October 2026).
  • Escrow and approval. The offer amount is held in escrow and released when the work is approved; draft approval before posting is optional per campaign (breakr.app/products/payouts, checked October 2026).
  • Price. No public price list; its terms say it typically charges a 10% finder's fee, which may be built into the prices shown, and business users may pay a subscription or a fee per campaign (breakr.app/terms-of-service, checked October 2026).

When a different model fits better

  • You want many videos, not many negotiations. Sending and negotiating offers creator by creator takes time. In a budget-based campaign you set the rules once and creators who fit opt in.
  • You want a price before you start. A published budget makes it easy to test a release with a small amount.
  • You want someone else to check every video. On Sound.me, the team watches every video and doesn't pay for videos that miss your directions.

How Sound.me pays creators

Creators are paid for each approved video based on the views it gets in its first 72 hours, so the budget follows the videos people watch. Our team watches every video and makes sure creators follow your directions. If they don't, they don't get paid, and that part of your budget goes back into your campaign for other creators.
