In brief

Sound.me is a two-sided creator marketplace: artists, record labels and brands pay creators to make short videos with their sound or product on TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, and creators use the Sound.me app to apply to daily paid campaigns and cash out via PayPal. It has 3M+ registered creators in 61 countries, who have made 90M+ videos with 181B+ organic views for 20K+ advertisers.

Sound.me publishes this page and is one of the options in it. Competitor details come only from each company's own website and are linked next to each fact; prices and terms change, so check their site before you buy.

How Collabstr works

  • Hire one by one. You browse creator profiles and hire each one for a sponsored post or UGC at the price they list (collabstr.com/pricing, checked September 2026).
  • Fees. No subscription needed; a 10% platform fee per order, 5% on the Premium plan. Creators pay a 15% fee on their payout (same page).
  • Approval. You approve the work; payment is held in escrow until then (same page).

Why musicians look for an alternative

  • Many videos behind one sound. A song spreads when many people use its sound. Hiring creators one at a time keeps the number of videos small for a given budget.
  • Built for songs. Music-focused campaigns make every video use your official sound and let you say which part of the song to use.
  • Less time per video. In a budget-based campaign you set the rules once and creators who fit opt in.

How Sound.me handles creators and videos

Sound.me's team matches and approves creators; on TikTok campaigns of $1,000 or more you can also approve creators yourself. Our team watches every video and makes sure creators follow your directions. If they don't, they don't get paid, and that part of your budget goes back into your campaign for other creators.
